Our Modsy Experience: Why 3D virtual home design is a MUST-try

1. Choose a few fundamental pieces to replace
Beginning past identifying your biggest need. For us, this meant replacing our couches (which were over a decade old!) We knew that this would have the biggest chunk of our decorating budget, so we wanted to keep as much of the rest of our furniture as possible to make it work.

2. Create a color palette

Once nosotros had colors for our living room, it was a lot easier to find items matched each other. I did targeted searches on Pinterest with keywords like "brown and turquoise living room" for inspiration. I and then sent my favorite ideas to my Modsy Way Advisor to help her suggest buyable pieces to meet our needs.

3. Rearrange to maximize your space
Previously, we had our couches pushed against the wall effectually the perimeter of the room. This made talking to each other difficult — you had to shout across the room to be heard!
This completely open layout also allowed our girls' toys to take over the infinite. The dollhouse and toy area was non separated from the residuum of the living room, and so as they played, toys spread out onto the carpet and in forepart of the couches and TV.
