What is a Scentsy Bar? A Scentsy Bar is a block of fragrant wax in eight break-apart sections. They're available in more than 80 exclusive Scentsy fragrances and designed for use in a Scentsy Warmer.

How long will a Scentsy Bar last? A Scentsy Bar will last approximately 50 to 60 hours, depending on the strength of the fragrance, where a Warmer is located in a room, the time of year, humidity and other factors.
Why does my wax look like it's sweating? Extreme variations in temperature can cause fragrance oils in your Bar to separate from the wax and begin beading up on its surface. It looks a lot like sweat! Here are a couple of ways to help prevent "sweaty" wax:
• Don't store your Bars in the freezer.
• Do store your Bars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
When the Bar is warmed, the oils should blend with the wax with no noticeable effect on your fragrance experience.
What kind of wax is used in Scentsy Bars?We use a custom, high-quality paraffin wax blend designed to give you long-lasting fragrance and selected for its scent-loading ability, melting point and firmness. That means it warms beautifully and holds a lot of fragrance!
Do I use a whole Scentsy Bar at once? Scentsy Bars come in eight break-apart sections. Break off one or two sections and place in the dish of your Warmer. Turn your Warmer on and enjoy!
How do I clean wax out of a Scentsy Warmer? While the wax is warm, pour it out and wipe the Warmer dish with a paper towel to remove any residual wax. (Don't pour it down the sink!)
Are Scentsy Bars safe? Scentsy Bars are safer than wicked candles because no flame is required. Since the wax is warmed and not burned like traditional candles, no harmful chemicals or pollutants are released into the air — just beautiful fragrance. That means no flame, smoke or soot!

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs): Sounds scary, right? Especially "volatile," which in this case only refers to a substance's tendency to evaporate. Evaporation? Not so scary.
Most people use the term VOC to refer to something harmful, like an air pollutant. But the truth is you breathe VOCs every time you smell a bouquet of flowers or cook with fresh garlic. Without VOCs we would live in a fragrance-free world! And what kind of world would that be?
Some VOCs, like formaldehydes, are harmful. Scentsy fragrance products do not contain or release ANY harmful VOCs. They are all formaldehyde-free
Our products DO only contain safe ingredients
It's true that some synthetic ingredients are potentially harmful to your health and the environment. At the same time, some natural ingredients are potentially harmful, depending on how they're used. But at Scentsy, we DO NOT use harmful natural or synthetic ingredients in any of our fragrance products.
All Scentsy oils are formulated to the guidelines outlined by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM). We also require the fragrance houses we work with to be active members of IFRA. IFRA determines which ingredients are safe and at what levels, by product.
Are Scentsy bars non-toxic? Yes. Scentsy Bars do not contain or release harmful phthalates. Scentsy fragrance products do not contain or release any harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). They are free from bisphenol A (BPA), gluten, lead, egg and formaldehyde
What wattage of lightbulb does a Scentsy Warmer use? Warmers use a 15-watt bulb, 20-watt bulb, 25-watt bulb or 40-watt Edison bulb, depending on the Warmer you've purchased. Some Warmers don't require a lightbulb at all! See the catalog or product list for the lightbulb size for each Scentsy Warmer.
